Struktur 2D dan 3D di sini hanya untuk struktur molekul dengan rantai terbuka (alifatik). Alkana (rantai terpanjang hanya berupa ikatan tunggal), alkena (rantai terpanjang mengandung ikatan rangkap dua), alkuna (rantai terpanjang mengandung ikatan rangkap tiga). Untuk visual 3D interaktif, dapat dilakukan pembesaran dan dapat diputar).

Visual molekul ini dapat digunakan untuk mendukung pembelajaran kimia pokok bahasan hidrokarbon. Visual molekul yang disajikan maksimal mengandung 6C.
